英文当中有一个东西叫做“idioms习语”,很多同学都感觉到用了习语,口语的感觉就和native speaker 越来越接近。今天咱们就一起谈谈英文中的习语的使用。首先,咱们先看看什么是idioms?
那么我们可以看到,习语是由一个以上的单词组合而成,这些单词在这个组合里面的意思区别于它们单独的意思。常见的习语,比如, lose one's marbles 陷入疯狂 He's lost his marbles. 他真是疯了。 如果我们雅思口语考试的时候可以用这些习语来表达就会很酷哦。
但是在日常生活中我们其实并非要刻意去使用这些习语,只用一些日常常用交流即可。之所以学习这些习语,是因为在雅思考试中,官方评分标准中有这项要求,让我来一起看一下是哪个分数段有习语的要求吧。
作为雅思老师,每次除了帮大家探考题意外,也是希望可以喜提满分,所以基本上都是8-9分的一个评分标准,那么习语也是重要考核的一项。此外,包括需要考7分的童鞋们,大家可以看到需要使用idiomatic vocabulary,所以可见,这项要求在高分段比重中的重要性。 截止目前为止,有关于习语部分在雅思口语考试中的重要性可见一斑。综上所述:习语部分是语言学习研究者很有价值的一部分。通过习语的学习,我们可以对这类型语言的历史文化有所了解,从而发现其与其他语种的不同之处。当然,习语的使用在我们平常交流中不是很常用,以免引起交流和理解方面的误差。对于非母语学习者来说,由于语言文化背景不同所导致的理解误差很容易发生。 在雅思口语考试中,掌握了解语言的多样性,会使自己的表述锦上添花,反之,如果对习语等多样性掌握不充分,也会影响自己的语言表达,因此需要大家多多积累,量变引起质变。在平时教学过程中,我会将一些平常可以随时学习的视频音频等资料的学习法推荐给大家。多听一些地道的英语表达,比如BBC等权威英文播放平台,多多练习,相信你一定会有进步。
