       今天分享的歌曲是Ed Sheeran的Thinking Out Loud

       这首歌曲也是获得了格莱美的“年度歌曲”奖，Ed Sheeran也凭借这首歌获得了当年格莱美“最佳流行独唱”奖。其实，这是Sheeran当时写给自己的女友的一首歌，歌词真是相当动情了，句句表白金句，也是很羡慕了。

       “把你迷住”，“使你神魂颠倒”

        比如：

       A handsome young man swept Nancy off her feet.

       一位英俊的年轻男子把Nancy迷住了。

       但是“sweep something off”表示的是“把某物扫干净”

       比如：

       Could you please sweep the leaves off the path?

       能请您把小路上的落叶扫干净吗？

       “sweep”除了作动词，还可以 用作名词，也表示“打扫”。

       可以直接说：

       The kitchen needs a good sweep.

       原来，眼睛笑才是真的笑

       看到这个表达，脑子里立马浮现那道 关于smile的雅思考题

       “Can you recognize a fake smile?”

       那我们就可以用到类似的表达。

       比如：

       When their eyes smile from their cheeks, they smile at you sincerely.

l the touch of

       “触碰”

       比如：

       I still remember the touch of her hand.

       我还记得触碰到她手的感觉。

       “触觉”也可以说：the sense of touch

       跟“touch”相关的词组在口语中也有很多，

       比如

       “get/stay/keep in touch with somebody”

       “跟某人取得联系”。

       那么，“跟某人失去了联系”

       就可以是“lost touch with somebody”。

       另外，“stay/ keep in touch with something”

       可以表示“了解某事的最新情况”

       比如：

       Social media provides us a chance to keep in touch with the hottest news.

       社交媒体给我们提供了了解最热门资讯的机会

       口语中，有时候也会用“a soft touch”or “an easy touch”

       表示“好说话的人，有求必应的人”，尤其是在金钱方面好说话。“心软好骗的人”。

l place

       这个词，我们用得比较多的是 它的名词形式，表示“地点”。

       它也可以 用作动词，表示“放置”，“处于某种境地”。

       比如：

       The government is being placed under the pressure to give financial help to rural areas.

       政府正面对为农村提供经济援助的压力。

       但是，大多情况下，“place”作动词时的词义都略显正式，在日常口语中，一般用put比较多。

       比如：

       They put an ad in the paper.

       他们在报上登了一则广告。

       再比如：

       I put the cup on the table.

       我把杯子放到桌上。
